Description

About us

Part3 is a ConstructionTech startup that gives Architects and Engineers the tools they need to manage construction. Our mission is simple – to help design a built world that’s good for people and the planet.

Architects and Engineers design the world we live in and the communities we engage in, but in modern-day construction the administrative burden is overwhelming. Part3 is here to provide the tools they need to work smarter, earn more, and keep up with the ever-increasing pace of construction.

Having raised investment from an incredible group of Angel investors, we’re adding new expertise to the team to help us reach the next level. Lead by an experienced team with a mix of backgrounds, we’re working to bring our technology to designers across North America.

About you
You might be looking for a change, or simply looking for a challenge. Either way, you’re excited by a career in sales and have an entrepreneurial drive to build something meaningful.

As a BDR at Part3, you will accelerate our GTM and work predominantly with the CEO to drive growth. You’re a results-driven, self-starter who pushes hard for success and doesn’t mind working independently.

While the pandemic has been challenging, you have enjoyed working from home and relish in the autonomy and flexibility that provides, recognizing success in this environment requires total transparency and accountability.

To that end, you leverage your outstanding communication and storytelling skills to develop meaningful relationships with colleagues, prospects, and other stakeholders. You’re a hunter with a heart.

You might have experience in the construction space, or in B2B SaaS, or you might not. What matters more is that you know how to communicate, you believe in customer service, and you know you can learn the rest. We will teach you.
Despite all of the above stuff, you’re humble. You know you’re a rockstar, but you let your results do the talking. You’re mature enough to know the difference between celebrating wins and bragging about them. While others are doing that you’re on to the next one.

Experience:

  • 1 year experience in a tech SDR or BDR role (Co-ops count), bonus points for B2B SaaS experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize workload
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Storyteller extraordinaire, you’re comfortable presenting a company and a product to anyone, in any setting
  • Bonus for experience in the construction industry

Responsibilities:

  • This is your chance to help establish the BDR organization by creating the process for sales and hiring future BDR's
  • Understand and deliver Part3’s value proposition and present the value of our solution to meet individual customer needs.
  • Actively participate in outbound calling and email campaigns in order to hit targets for qualified opportunities
  • Generate sales pipeline and accurately capture and qualify leads through effectively identifying prospect pains and product fit.
  • Collaborate with Founders to create a fair and accurate pipeline, schedule qualified meetings and opportunity follow-ups ensuring attendance and engagement.
  • Establish a repeatable sales process that uses data to derive performance
  • Participate in hiring future sales team members

Why Part3?

This is your chance to be more than a cog in a machine, and have a meaningful impact every day. You’ll work directly with the founding team of entrepreneurs to grow the next major ConstructionTech startup in North America.

When it comes to working culture, we’re throwing out the rule book. We have families and have grown Part3 amid a global pandemic - this has taught us the importance of a flexible work schedule, and ownership in both your work and your company.

  • Company ownership
  • Autonomous, meaningful, and challenging work
  • Flexible working hours (you’re in control) and a generous vacation policy
  • Brand new Macbook

Important Tips from the CEO and Hiring Manager:

It's a competitive market, and we see a lot of great applications. The unfortunate truth is we only have seconds/minutes to review a candidate. I wanted to share some tips for applying here (and anywhere else);

1 - Use a PDF resume. It will display automatically. If you use Word files we need to download them, and then they open weird in Pages etc. Remove any reason for someone to overlook your application

2 - LinkedIn has a feature that allows you to 'Message the hiring manager' with a pre-built InMail. DON'T DO IT. I get 10's of these every day and they all look the same. Either write something personal (I will read it) or don't do it at all.

3 - Cover letters are not necessary, but if you feel your resume misses some important detail, a short paragraph via InMail is a good idea.

4 - Don't overthink your resume. Avoid the temptation to over-design it. Use short punchy sentences packed with information, not fluffy paragraphs with big visuals.

Compensation

$52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
